Glen Gardner, New Jersey — 1st December — In November, the Department's Glen Gardner Fire Company No. 1 responded to fifteen incidents. Three building fires, four alarm activations, four auto accidents, two outdoor fires, a carbon monoxide alert and a gas leak were among the calls. Additionally, firefighters received training on new electronic equipment carried on the apparatus and took part in the annual Bethlehem Township Emergency Services joint live burn at the Hunterdon County Emergency Services Training Centre.
Brush 12 and Squad 12 went to the Voorhees High School girls' cross-country team's community celebration. There were two successful fundraising events: a vendor craft fair and a coin toss. Residents were advised to keep plants at least ten feet away from buildings as the autumn brush fire season continues.
