Bay Head Fire Department Responds to Two-Vehicle Crash with Overturned Car at Main Avenue Intersection

February 4, 2026 – At approximately 11:30 a.m., the Bay Head Fire Department, along with the Mantoloking Fire Company, responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Avenue and Harris Street, where one vehicle was reported overturned. Upon arrival, emergency responders found that occupants from both vehicles had already been assisted out by responding police officers. Fire units remained on scene to provide scene safety and hazard control measures until both vehicles were removed from the roadway. Injured parties were evaluated and treated by Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad. The crash was investigated by the Bay Head Police Department. The department extended its appreciation to its automatic aid partners, including Point Pleasant Fire Department Station 75 and Point Boro EMS, for their coordinated response and support during the incident.
