Multi-Agency Response to Morning Accident on I-280

Roseland, New Jersey — December 13 — Due to a reported car accident, units from the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department, located at 300 Eagle Rock Ave., Roseland, New Jersey, were sent to Route 280 West. When Squad 662, Rescue 664, and Command 660 arrived on the scene, they found a car with a person inside who needed help. Using standard rescue techniques, firefighters from Squad 662 and Rescue 664 stabilized the vehicle and finished removing the patient. After that, the patient was given to the Roseland First Aid Squad for additional medical assessment and transportation. Both the New Jersey State Police and the Roseland Police Department were present to help with traffic management and general scene security. The matter was resolved without any additional issues when operations were finished effectively.
