Wildwood, NJ — December 7 — With its headquarters located at 4400 New Jersey Avenue, the City of Wildwood Fire Department joined towns across the country in honouring the Americans who perished in the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbour. In addition to honouring the service soldiers and civilians impacted on that day, the anniversary provides an opportunity to consider a pivotal point in American history.
December 7 is observed by the fire department as a reminder of responsibility, readiness, and dedication to public service. Firefighters know how important it is to honor the sacrifices made in the past while still serving their communities today. The department honors those who lost their lives and reinforces its commitment to service, accountability, and public safety by commemorating Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
