Dennisville, NJ — December 14 — As temperatures drop quickly around the district, the Dennis Volunteer Fire Company is warning drivers to exercise caution. Falling temperatures are predicted to trigger refreezing over the evening and overnight hours, resulting in hazardous and icy conditions, even though many roads are currently free of snow.

Bridges, junctions, shady places, and less-traveled routes are frequently the first to become dangerous, according to fire authorities. Drivers are urged to slow down, extend their following distance, and, whenever feasible, avoid needless travel. Near emergency sites, where rescuers may be working on roads in low light, extra caution is advised.
