Dennisville, NJ — December 13 — A working structure fire in Maurice River Township prompted units of the Department Dennis Volunteer Fire Company, located at 721 Petersburg Road, to offer mutual aid. Along with a cover assignment to Station 26 in Leesburg, Tanker 18 was sent to the scene. Ladder 18 was diverted and asked to go straight to the fire scene while en route to the cover detail.

Together with other responding companies, Tanker 18 and Ladder 18 came and helped with overhaul, water delivery, and fire suppression. Before moving to Station 26 to offer coverage, Dennis units stayed on the scene for over two hours.
