Quick Response Contains Kitchen Fire on Forest Court

December 5, 2025, 11:14 a.m. — Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company and EMS units were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire on Forest Court under Fire Call 25-201 and EMS Call 25-915. An EMS duty crew returning from a separate hospital transport arrived first on scene and confirmed that the fire was contained to an oven inside the residence.
Firefighters disconnected the appliance and ventilated the structure to clear smoke from the home. The response was subsequently held to Engine 12-72, with six members operating on scene. No injuries were reported, and the incident was brought under control without further extension.
