December 4, 2025 — The Collings Lakes Fire Department announced plans for its annual Santa Claus fire truck escort, a longtime holiday tradition that brings Santa through neighborhoods in Collings Lakes and Folsom in the days leading up to Christmas. Firefighters will escort Santa aboard department apparatus as he makes his way through residential areas, greeting families and spreading holiday cheer.

According to the department, Santa will travel through the Pennypot section and areas north of the Black Horse Pike in Folsom on the night of December 22, followed by Folsom south of the Black Horse Pike and Collings Lakes on the night of December 23. Residents are encouraged to listen for sirens as Santa approaches, and real-time location updates will be shared by the department during both evenings.

Parents wishing to have special gifts delivered by Santa during the rides may drop off presents at the firehouse on Tuesday nights throughout the month after 7 p.m. All items must be clearly labeled with the child’s name and address. Fire officials say the event is a community favorite and encourage families to come out and enjoy the holiday tradition.
