On Saturday evening, December 7, 2025, holiday spirit filled the air in Egg Harbor Township as residents gathered for the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, highlighted by a special arrival from Santa Claus himself. Santa made a memorable entrance aboard Tower-15 from the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company, delighting children and families who lined the area to welcome him. The event brought together members of the community to celebrate the start of the holiday season with festive lights, decorations, and seasonal cheer, while showcasing the continued involvement of local volunteer firefighters in community traditions. The Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company noted that Santa’s appearance was part of their ongoing efforts to support and participate in township events that bring residents together during the holidays.
