On December 6, 2025, the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company shared details of the Egg Harbor Township Fire Department’s annual holiday tradition, announcing that Santa Claus will once again be visiting neighborhoods throughout EHT with the help of the township’s all-volunteer firefighters. Coordinated with the North Pole, Santa’s appearances are scheduled across multiple fire districts on select dates in mid to late December, with stops planned in Cardiff, Bargaintown, Scullville, Farmington, and West Atlantic City. Fire officials reminded residents that all arrival times are approximate and emphasized that firefighters remain on duty for emergencies, noting that Santa’s route may pause if crews are dispatched to calls for service. Community members were also asked not to contact 911 or dispatch centers for Santa’s location and to remain patient as volunteers work through neighborhoods to spread holiday cheer while continuing to protect public safety.
