On December 4, 2025, the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 released its activity report for November 2025, detailing a busy month of emergency responses throughout Egg Harbor Township. During the month, members handled a total of 48 dispatched calls for service, reflecting the wide range of incidents the volunteer department responds to on a regular basis. Firefighters were dispatched to one structure fire and two vehicle fires, along with multiple EMS assists, rescue and extrication incidents, and responses involving spills, leaks, and a chemical release. Crews also investigated electrical wiring and equipment issues, unauthorized burning complaints, water-related problems, and numerous reports of smoke. The report noted that unintentional alarm activations accounted for nearly half of all responses, underscoring the continued demand placed on volunteer firefighters even when emergencies are not confirmed. Department officials praised their members for their dedication and readiness, emphasizing the importance of community support and volunteer recruitment to maintain effective emergency coverage.
