Sunday, December 7, 2025 —The Brigantine Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2657, alongside the Brigantine Fire and EMS Department, kicked off their annual Santa’s Island Ride on Sunday evening, spreading holiday cheer throughout the South End of the island. Beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. and continuing through the evening hours, Santa traveled along a planned route through neighborhood streets, delighting residents who gathered despite the cold temperatures. The long-standing tradition encourages families to come outside, share photos, and celebrate the season as first responders give back to the community they proudly serve. The event once again highlighted the strong bond between Brigantine’s public safety members and local residents during the holiday season.
