December 20, 2025 — Atlantic City, New Jersey — The Atlantic City Professional Firefighters Association, NJ FMBA Local 8, paused to honor the life and legacy of Firefighter Anthony Carfagno, remembering a dedicated public servant who passed away in 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. In a statement released by the union, members reflected on Carfagno’s years of service, highlighting his courage, commitment to the job, and the strong sense of brotherhood he shared with fellow firefighters. The organization also extended its thoughts and prayers to his wife, children, and the entire Carfagno family, emphasizing that his sacrifice and service will never be forgotten within the Atlantic City Fire Department.
