Sicklerville, NJ — December 19 — Through a recent grant, the Winslow Township Fire Department started providing firefighters with emergency bailout kits. When conditions inside deteriorate and there are no other ways out, firefighters can execute emergency bailout procedures from a second-floor level thanks to the equipment and related training. The bailout kits provide an extra degree of security for members working inside buildings and are meant to be used as a last option. Safety and Survival Training, LLC offered a train-the-trainer program in addition to practical teaching.

Legislative District Four representatives, including Senator Moriarty, Assemblyman Hutchison, and Assemblyman Miller, endorsed the award. The training improves firefighter safety and readiness during high-risk operations, according to fire officials.
