Magnolia, NJ — November 29 — In the morning, Magnolia Fire Company 29 was called to a house fire in its first-due area. Quint Company 29 was the first to arrive and served as the first engine, establishing a supply line from a nearby hydrant. A two-story, wood-frame, single-family home with flames visible from the second-floor Delta side was discovered by the crews. After arriving, Deputy Chief 29 took command. The Quint Company team swiftly contained and put out the fire on the second story by advancing an attack line via the Alpha side. Search, ventilation, utility control, overhaul, and salvage activities were supported by engine, ladder, and squad companies from neighbouring departments. On-site EMS coverage was available. There were no reported injuries.
