Blackwood, NJ — November 30 — Two working fires in Gloucester Township, a response to Magnolia, a coverage assignment for Stratford, and numerous other calls were all part of the hectic operational period that the Chews Landing Fire Department handled. Crews were sent to a Blackwood alarm system on Friday, and when Squad 88 arrived, they discovered an ongoing flat fire and filled the box. Before being published, Tower Ladder 82 helped with laddering operations. Later that evening, teams worked at another local incident while TL82 covered Stratford. TL82 arrived in Magnolia on Saturday morning to put out a working attic fire, which was swiftly put out. That afternoon, a reported brush fire involving tractor trailers close to a business off the bike trail prompted Engine 82 and Rescue 82 to react.
