Cherry Hill, NJ — 8th December — On December 8, Ladder 1324 was working at a house fire in Pennsauken. As part of a coordinated fireground effort with nearby and mutual-aid units, the ladder company responded. In order to assist with suppression efforts, crews were given fireground responsibilities that were in line with ladder company operations and operated under the incident command structure.
Until things were under control, operations concentrated on upholding scene safety, assisting inside teams, and finishing assigned duties. The event made clear how crucial it is for local departments to regularly train together and form mutual-aid agreements. Employees of the Cherry Hill Fire Department are still prepared to help nearby communities during working fire emergencies throughout the area.
