Riverton, NJ — December 11 — As part of a coordinated multi-agency emergency response, the Riverton Fire Department responded to a box alarm in Burlington County on December 11. When an emergency may call for more personnel, equipment, or coverage, box alarms are sent out to make sure there are sufficient resources available.

Units collaborated with nearby departments to support incident operations and uphold scene safety while operating in accordance with established county guidelines. Prearranged mutual-aid agreements, which enable departments to collaborate effectively across municipal lines, are the foundation of box alarm responses. Officials stated that all of the incident's photos belong to the fire department's photography staff and cannot be used without authorization.
