Mount Laurel, New Jersey — December 8 — In order to better serve the people of Mount Laurel Township, the Mount Laurel Fire Department welcomed a number of new members. The most recent firemen were able to start active duty after completing the necessary training and department onboarding. Their inclusion helps meet staffing requirements and improves the department's capacity to handle training assignments, emergencies, and community activities. The new members were assisted by officers and senior members in reviewing safety regulations, expectations, and operational procedures on the fireground.

Maintaining preparedness and guaranteeing steady emergency coverage still depends on recruitment and retention.
