COLUMBUS, NJ - Due to a reported commercial vehicle fire, Franklin Fire Company #1 crews were sent to Route 295 on December 10th. After responding to the highway, units started operations with an emphasis on fire control, size-up, and scene safety. 

While communicating with supporting agencies, firefighters worked to secure the area, control traffic hazards, and evaluate the involved vehicle. There were no reported injuries at the time of the response.
