Eastampton Township, New Jersey — December 22 — The Eastampton Fire-Rescue Department, located at 788 Smithville Road, dispatched Rescue Engine 3411 as mutual aid to Springfield Township in response to a second-alarm structure fire. Firefighters from Eastampton helped with water supply operations, which included filling and maintaining many tenders that were in use.
Members were able to utilize training they had completed earlier this year thanks to the reaction. Eastampton staff participated in a three-day rural water supply training in April, which was followed by a comprehensive exercise in Medford Lakes. Sustained water delivery and tanker shuttle operations were the main topics of that training.
