House Fire on Fountayne Court in Washingtonville

WASHINGTONVILLE, NY - At 10:07 A.M. on December 15, 2022, the Washingtonville Fire Department was dispatched to a possible house fire on Fountayne Court. Upon arrival, the Chief of Department had fire showing from the '4' side of the building, and a second-alarm was transmitted.
The crew of Engine 584 arrived and found fire showing from the eaves on the first floor, and fire on the first floor extending to the second floor. The fire extended to a void space on the second floor, above the garage on the '4' side of the building.
The following departments operated at the scene of the fire: Vails Gate, Salisbury Mills, Maybrook, Campbell Hall, South Blooming Grove, Goshen and Coldenham.
Blooming Grove Volunteer Ambulance Corps stood-by at the scene. Blooming Grove Police Department assisted at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Orange County Fire Investigators.
