December 12, 2025 — The Upper Saddle River Fire Department welcomed a local Girl Scout troop to the firehouse this afternoon for an educational and engaging tour.
Firefighters spoke with the scouts about emergency response, fire safety, and the important role firefighters play in protecting the community. The visit gave the scouts a behind-the-scenes look at the firehouse and the equipment used during emergencies, while also providing an opportunity to ask questions and learn firsthand about public safety.
Department members said community outreach events like this help build awareness, inspire future leaders, and strengthen connections with residents of all ages.
