Engine 11 Assists Woodstown at Working Structure Fire

Carneys Point, NJ — December 10 — The Carneys Point Fire Department & Rescue Squad Inc.'s Engine 11 arrived early in the morning to help Station 12 in Woodstown with a working structure fire. Engine 11's first task upon arrival was to create a draft to assist with water supply operations. Command moved the team inside the building to help with fire suppression when conditions on the fireground changed. Together with other responding companies, firefighters carried out interior operations to help contain the fire. Engine 11 staff helped with overhaul after knockdown, looking for extensions and fixing any hot spots that remained. Throughout the crisis, units followed a predetermined incident command system. Engine 11 was released after fulfilling its assigned responsibilities, and no injuries involving Carneys Point employees were reported.
