Alloway, NJ — November 10 — Due to a reported house fire, Task Force 12 was sent to Woodstown early in the morning. As part of the mutual assistance assignment, the Alloway Township Fire Company responded with Tanker 19-5 and Ladder 19-6. As soon as they arrived, Ladder 19-6 firefighters were tasked with helping put out the fire and performing initial searches to make sure no one was inside. Before being rerouted to provide area coverage, Tanker 19-5 assisted operations by delivering water to the fireground. In order to stabilize the situation and support life safety priorities, fire departments collaborated under an established incident command structure. Units from Alloway Township stayed on the site until their designated tasks were finished. During the response, there were no reported injuries involving Alloway staff.
