Coordinated Operations Manage Flatbrook Road Vehicle Fire

Frankford Township, NJ — December 2nd — Along with Sandyston Township Fire Department Station 38 and the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad, the Frankford Township Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire on Flatbrook Road in Sandyston Township as part of an automatic aid assignment. When units arrived, they discovered that the engine and passenger compartments of a municipal plough vehicle were completely damaged.


Due first, Sandyston Engine 2 arrived and started putting out the flames. Soon after, Frankford units arrived and divided their crew to help with suppression while providing water to the attack engine. Command and coordination were established by Sandyston Car 38-1.
