Frankford Township, NJ — November 26th — Along with Branchville Hose Company #1, Sussex Fire & EMS, and Blue Ridge Rescue Squad, the Frankford Township Fire Department was sent on a first-alarm assignment in response to a reported structure fire on Pines Road. Shortly after dispatch, units arrived, and Car 25-2 established command and confirmed that the attic fire was operational.

While members of Frankford and Branchville Engines started suppression efforts, crews from 24 Ladder extended a handline for the initial assault. In order to support internal teams, other crews gained access to the roof to do overhaul and ventilation. The majority of the fire damage to the attic area was contained by firefighters in less than two hours of operation.
