November 16, 2025 —A big brush fire was reported to Millstone Valley Fire Department Station 28 in the Martinsville area of Bridgewater at 17:26 on Sunday. While Ranger 28 was tasked with the Washington Valley region, the department's drone team responded to Loller Drive and set up operations at the end of the road.
Two drones were deployed, collaborating with local fire departments, fire coordinators, and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. The Incident Commander received situational awareness and real-time fire spread monitoring from aerial operations. Ranger 28 helped teams with overhauling and moistening hot regions.
Eleven-person units responded, including Car 28 with drones, Car 28-2, Air 28, and Utility 28 with Ranger. At 20:00, Station 28 was removed from the area.
