On December 3rd, Springfield FMBA Local 57 members supported the community by attending the Township of Springfield's yearly tree lighting. Residents who came together to celebrate the season and take part in the evening's events were given hot chocolate and donuts by Local 57.

Union members enjoyed spending time with families, neighbors, and other community members as well as participating in the township custom. Firefighters have the chance to interact with locals outside of emergency situations and celebrate the holidays through events like the tree lighting.
