Hillside, N.J. — November 26 — To honor Hillside Police Department personnel and other firefighters who stayed on duty during the holiday, the Hillside FMBA organized a Thanksgiving brunch. While many locals spent the day with their families, the visit was planned to express gratitude to first responders for safeguarding the community. Members received recognition for their commitment and for responding to thousands of service requests over the course of the year. The lunch gave employees from several agencies a chance to interact and express gratitude for the daily work they do. Events like this that honor holidays boost morale and strengthen collaboration between public safety partners. The Hillside FMBA thanked all of the firefighters and police officers that serve the neighborhood all year long.
