Newburgh FD responded to a MVA vehicle into a pole on South Street in area of Thompson Street on December 11th. City/Newburgh Police were at scene.

Firefighters checked both vehicles for hazards and stood by. City/Newburgh Police requested Empress EMS for transport one driver-Town/Newburgh EMS responded

and transported subject to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital. South Street was closed to westbound traffic a Pierces Road. Central Hudson was called for pole that was

strike by vehicle. City/Newburgh Police investigating the cause.
