Santa will be escorted through Pohatcong Township on Saturday, December 20, starting at 9 a.m., according to a statement from the Huntington Volunteer Fire Company #1. As Santa travels around nearby areas on a fire apparatus, locals are urged to listen for the sirens and get outside.

Assuring the neighborhood that the crew will visit homes along the route immediately, firefighters are encouraging families to keep kids off the road. The agency wants to spread holiday pleasure to as many families as possible by having Santa greet residents and distribute treats. This event is part of the fire company’s December lineup, which also includes Breakfast with Santa on December 13 and the regular monthly breakfast on December 28.
