On December 7, 1941, the Washington Township Fire Department in Warren County commemorated Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day by paying tribute to the victims of the attack. In the hours and days that followed, the department acknowledged the bravery displayed by those who reacted and considered the sacrifice of the 2,400 service personnel and civilians who lost their lives.
