Atkinson, NH — November 13 — Following a 911 report of a rollover with a potential trapped person, the Atkinson Fire Department responded to a car accident at 151 Main Street. Early information led to the dispatch of Atkinson Police and Plaistow ALS, as well as the request for an additional ambulance from Hampstead Fire.

One car was on its side with the driver trapped inside when firefighters arrived. A second sufferer was found outside a different car that was involved. Atkinson and Hampstead crews collaborated to free the stranded driver and treat them both. Their injuries were not life-threatening, so they were taken to a nearby hospital. In order to lessen traffic accidents, Atkinson Fire advises drivers to abide by posted speed restrictions and drive carefully.
