November 12, 2025 — The Atlantic City Professional Firefighters NJ FMBA Local 8 announced today that Atlantic City Firefighter Charities has received a generous grant from the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting public safety communities and the children they serve.

The funding will directly bolster the charitable initiatives firefighters carry out throughout the year, with a special focus on programs that benefit children in Atlantic City. Fire officials expressed deep gratitude for the foundation’s continued partnership and belief in their mission.

The organization encouraged the community to give the foundation a follow and explore the meaningful work they do to uplift public safety families and strengthen community support.

Firefighters emphasized that contributions like this help ensure they can continue making a positive impact far beyond emergency response—reaching the youngest and most vulnerable members of the community.
