Bridgewater Township, NJ — 22nd December — Due to a reported fire alarm near Rolling Hills Road, the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company was sent to Bridgewater Township. Units arrived to look into the activation and make sure the neighboring houses and residents were safe.

While firefighters performed a routine alarm investigation, inspecting the building and its fire prevention systems, Somerset County Communications coordinated the response. The equipment was set up so that workers could work safely and yet have access to the road. Due to emergency activities, drivers were encouraged to drive carefully in the vicinity. There were no obvious signs of a fire, and no casualties were recorded.
