Hillsborough Township, New Jersey — 12th January — Companies from the Hillsborough Fire District arrived at the scene of a reported fire on Falcon Road. A Box 10-1 first-alarm assignment for additional resources was transmitted when Chief 37 arrived first and verified that an attached two-car garage was completely engaged.

Tanker 37 received assistance from crews working on Ladder 38 in extending the first handlines and applying water to the fire. A second hose line was extended by an Engine 38 crew to assist with water delivery operations. In order to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading outside the garage, firefighters worked well. There were no reported casualties, and the fire was restricted to the original building. On the site, mutual assistance partners provided support for coverage requirements and suppression operations. The reaction demonstrated efficient collaboration and well-coordinated activities amongst the Hillsborough Fire District's companies and supporting organizations.
