Station 38 Assists at Tractor-Trailer Fire

Hillsborough Township, NJ — 10th January — Crews were sent to Valley Road with Station 37 for a reported tractor-trailer fire while Hillsborough Fire Co. #3 – Station 38 units responded to a fire alarm on the township's west side. Units were redirected to the working incident when it was established that the alert was unintentional. Due to distance, Station 38 was also sent out.


The first engine to arrive was Ladder 36, which used a hose line to suppress the most of the fire. Engine 38 extended a second line, while Tanker 37 created a water supply. Neshanic E485 and Engine 36 helped open the cab while extinguishment was finished. Due to the truck's non-hazardous load, the fire was confined. Businesses ran for around ninety minutes.
