NASHUA, N.H. — November 23 — Following complaints of smoke in the fourth-floor corridor of the eight-story apartment building, Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a fire alarm at 56 Tyler Street, Sullivan Terrace North. Responding units located the fire and found sprinklers had already activated, helping to restrict smoke and flames. Crews connected to the standpipe system and utilized hose lines to finish extinguishing the fire. Residents from lower stories were evacuated while smoke was cleaned. Around 30 inhabitants were temporarily relocated and many units experienced water damage. There were no injuries to residents or firefighters. The incident demonstrates how fire-alarm monitoring, sprinkler activation, and swift response help safeguard lives and limit damage in multi-story residences.
