MILFORD, N.H. — November 23 — Milford Fire Department members responded to a working building fire on Federal Hill Road, arriving with help from nearby agencies. Firefighters made sure the building and its surroundings were safe while swiftly putting out the fire. Ladder 1 was sent out as that situation came to an end. to Amherst for a worker injured and trapped around 100 feet in the air while tree cutting. Both units collaborated to safely reach and remove the patient after Rescue 1 was called in to help. These simultaneous incidents highlight how mutual aid strengthens emergency services across the region. When several calls occur at once, departments depend on one another to provide prompt response and safeguard residents.
