Manchester, NH — November 7 — A training session on combined company operations was part of the City of Manchester, New Hampshire Fire Department's ongoing efforts to teach its newest firemen. Recruits worked with engine, truck, and rescue crews to understand how synchronized actions improve safety and effectiveness on the fireground.

Core skills like hose deployment, ladder placement, ventilation, and interior search procedures were the main focus of the training. Instructors offered realistic scenarios to enhance communication, teamwork, and appropriate decision-making throughout structural reactions.The department's objective of fulfilling suggested national training standards, which need regular practical experience to maintain preparedness, was further bolstered by the session. Recruits are better equipped to join operating shifts and support the department's goal of community protection by obtaining expertise in shared tasks.
