Multi-Agency Response Aids Patient in ATV Accident

Litchfield, NH — November 4 — When an ATV accident necessitated off-road access, Litchfield Fire Rescue arrived with Engine 2 and Utility 1 to assist Hudson and Londonderry. The call required the deployment of Litchfield's OHRV unit since the patient was in a wooded area that was inaccessible to regular equipment. In addition to helping with patient care and transportation, crews collaborated to find the area and deliver equipment to rescuers on foot.
Because departments share specialised vehicles and trained personnel to optimise response times, off-highway situations sometimes depend on regional cooperation. When geography provides a challenge, coordinated actions like these guarantee that supplies can be dispatched promptly, according to fire officials. In order to protect locals and guests, Litchfield Fire Rescue continues to assist mutual-aid partners as needed.
