Campton, NH — November 11 — Department After a tractor-trailer incident forced the closure of Interstate 93 southbound between Exits 30 and 29 in Thornton, Campton-Thornton Fire Rescue, located at 186 NH Route 49, Campton Station, responded. All lanes were blocked when the truck stopped on the other side of the road. No injuries were recorded, and no other vehicles were involved.
To control the situation and ensure safety, crews collaborated with New Hampshire State Police and New Hampshire DOT. By closing the highway and rerouting traffic to US Route 3, the Woodstock Fire Department helped. While the car is removed and the road is examined, the closure is anticipated to last for a few hours.
For easier travel, drivers are urged to stay away from the area and take the designated routes.
