Troy, NH — November 11 — The Troy Fire/Rescue and Forest Fire Department honored the men and women who have served in the US military in observance of Veterans Day. With a sense of duty and responsibility, many local veterans continue to serve their communities as volunteers in public safety, firefighting, and emergency medical services. The department acknowledged the difficulties encountered both during and after service, as well as the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, including time spent away from home. To express gratitude and consider the significance of military service, community organizations hosted modest get-togethers and celebrations. Throughout the year, locals are urged to remember those who are currently serving and to express gratitude to veterans. Their commitment continues to be a solid basis for both local public safety and national security.
