Keene Firefighters Mark National First Responders Day

KEENE, NH — October 28 — In observance of National First Responders Day, the Professional Firefighters of Keene IAFF Local 3265 expressed gratitude to everyone who supports local emergency services. Firefighters, police, emergency medical services, dispatchers, and emergency management teams who work around the clock to safeguard the public are honored on this day. Established in 2017, National First Responders Day raises awareness of their year-round dedication, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Keene firemen emphasized how Cheshire County's excellent ties enable coordinated response in the event of extreme weather, fires, medical calls, and other emergencies. Residents were urged by the department to take a moment to recognize these experts, whose preparation, teamwork, and training guarantee that assistance is available when needed. Pride in working with committed responders across the community was emphasized in the message.
