Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Supports Member in Intensive Training

Wolfeboro, NH — November 3 — Call member Claire Richard has completed half of her Recruit School training at the New Hampshire Fire Academy, according to Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue. Students train for both Firefighter I and Firefighter II certification throughout the eight-week live-in program, which is offered five days a week. Classroom instruction and practical skills including hose handling, search operations, ladders, and fire behavior are all part of the program. Additionally, participants practice the safety protocols and collaboration required for an effective emergency response. According to Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue, the training promotes the department's long-term preparedness and professional growth. After completing the program, Claire is anticipated to join field operations and will continue working towards certification. Her dedication and advancement were acknowledged by the department.
