Malabar Fire Department responds to fifth-wheel RV fire with assistance from mutual aid partners

October 6, 2025 — Malabar Fire Department units responded to a reported fifth-wheel RV fire with exposure concerns. Upon arrival, crews found the RV well involved but were able to contain the fire to the RV itself, preventing damage to nearby structures.
Palm Bay Fire Rescue and Brevard County Fire Rescue responded under automatic aid to assist Malabar units with suppression efforts and scene support. No injuries were reported.
The Malabar Fire Department thanked its mutual aid partners for their assistance in bringing the incident under control safely and efficiently.
