Around 1:30 Friday Cedar Hammock received a report of a fire at Corral Club Apartments off of 36th Street West. On arrival they had flames and smoke pouring from all three floors of Side āCā. Crews stretched a line up to Division 3 for the attack. A second alarm was struck for this Incident bringing City of Bradenton for the assist. The fire was brought under control in around a half hour. Thirty residents were displaced by this fire, management and the Red Cross are working on finding temporary housing. One family pet died in the fire and one is still missing. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshalls Office.
