Wolfeboro First Responders Appreciated for Service to Community

Wolfeboro, NH — October 28 — National First Responders Day, a national celebration honouring firemen, police officers, EMS providers, dispatchers, and other emergency personnel, was observed by the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department. The celebration honored people who labor to keep the public safe during accidents, fires, and medical emergencies as well as those who react first to incidents. First responders receive year-round training and are ready to react to emergencies at any time of day, according to Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue. Additionally, the department emphasized the value of collaboration between regional organizations that assist day-to-day operations and mutual aid response. Residents were urged to take a moment to express gratitude to those who serve because doing so boosts morale and strengthens ties within the community. Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue extended gratitude to everyone who keeps defending others.
