Bartlett Assists at Tractor-Trailer Crash in Crawford Notch

Glen, NH — November 6 — When a tractor-trailer collided on Route 302 near Crawford Notch, the Bartlett Fire Department helped Twin Mountain Fire Rescue. While first responders secured the area and evaluated the risks, the road was closed for a considerable amount of time. Traffic management and roadway operations were provided by Littleton Fire Rescue Hazmat, Carroll Police, New Hampshire State Police, and New Hampshire DOT. The driver was taken to a hospital by Twin Mountain Ambulance due to minor injuries. Because of the location and the size of the involved vehicle, the collision needed meticulous cooperation. In order for traffic to safely continue, crews collaborated to stabilize the area and remove debris. The Bartlett Firefighters Association expressed gratitude to all responding agencies for their assistance.
